I picked this camera up, more or less, about a year ago and I really love the quality of outside pictures. Very clean and crisp. I do however have issues with indoor with redeye. Even redeye reduction and using P.E.6 to remove redeye isn't enough to make me happy.

Hot Shoe

Postby jackstech on Mon Sep 01, 2008 6:09 am

Does this camera have a hot shoe where you can add another flash and then use the bounce method?

If not try to increase your ISO to 400 or even 800 indoors and turn the flash off. Just make sure you have enough light for the picture.

Index Card Trick

Postby jackstech on Sat Sep 13, 2008 8:10 am

Sometimes you can use a piece of an index card and a small amount of tape and tape this under your flash pointing up. This will direct your flash to bounce off the ceiling and not directly into the persons eyes.

Hope this helps and keep clicking

I had not gotten a chance to adjust the ISO yet due to RL issues but I will keep the home remedy in mind as well.

Thank you.
