Hi Jack,
Thanks for the great tutorials - very helpful. I wanted to ask what is the major difference between opening versus placing photoshop elements?

I spent hours trying to get Ctrl G to work, only to find out that I should have placed the item versus opening the item.

I am trying to understand the logic here.
