Duplicate the effect

Postby retiredbefore60 on Thu May 29, 2008 7:42 am

Is it possible to duplicate the result of the attached image in Photoshop Elements 6? The girl is flowing out of the frame! The image of my grand son, wlile out of the frame is flat, with no ZIP.

Really enjoy your teaching!ImageImage

Great Pictures

I will have to play with this, it looks to me like you could use a smaller background image, then add your front layer and then pull it off to the side with a transparent background?

This looks like fun I will have to play around and see what I can come up with.

Who did these ones?

Duplicate this

Postby retiredbefore60 on Sun Jun 01, 2008 8:27 pm

Jack: I have no idea where the image of the girl came from. When I check the properties of the image it's titled "EricaBreakOutPSPCopy". I don't remember downloading it. The boy is my grandson and that was my best attempt.

As an aside I was able to load "Grants Tools". I was not able to follow your tutorial due to poor image quality and my own lack of ability. Taking your information I went on line under Grants Tools and used a couple of those web sites and did download it.

They look much better. I am glad you got the grant tools installed.

Have a great weekend

I've seen this effect before. Possibly called a 'border breakout'
I'd love you to show us how to do it Jack
