Anyone usings a Nikon D 40? Have you been having any difficulties?

I just ordered the Nikkon 1.8 35 mm af-s lens, I was having difficulty with the 1.8 50mm manually focusing in bright light, so I thought I would try the 35mm af-s.

More for Low Light

I don't have to D40, but I do have a 50mm f/1.8 lens and I understand that it will not auto focus with the D40.

But remember that the lower the f stop the better it is for low light. Maybe that is why you are having trouble with the brighter lights?

I have a D40 and I am very pleased using it. There are any aspects that I am still learning and I hope this forum will help me. I wedding photography and I look forward to asking you all questions about photo editing with Elements 6.
