Nikon D80

Postby Foxfire on Wed Aug 13, 2008 8:50 am

I upgraded from the D70 to the D80 as I love then quality of the Nikon camera's and lenses.

However, I found that the D80 appears to have a software problem, as the the meter overexposes by at lest 0.5 of a stop. This occurred not just on the Auto setting but also on the Manual setting. I am not certain how I can correct this, as I have updated the camera to the latest firmware.

I contacted Nikon, but had no response

Firefox,

I had an issue once with my D70s and called Nikon. The paid for the shipping to them, repaired the camera and paid to ship it back to me.

Maybe take it to a local camera store and have someone give you their thoughts on the camera.

Let me know how it goes. If nothing else maybe I could try to contact Nikon for you.
