Missing menus in elements 6

When in thumbnail view in organizer, the menu at top is missing. Just a couple of arrows. When I go full screen, the full menus appears when I move my cursor to the top. I have tried different dpi sizes but I still have no menu. My resolution is 1920X1200 on a 24" wide screen. Does anyone know how to overcome this problem please?

Did it ever look right

Did the menu bar ever look correct? I have never tried using Elements on a larger monitor then a 19" and it looks fine. Maybe just the wide screen?

If it did look correct before then I would suggest to re-install the software.

Thanks for your reply Jack. No, it has never worked even on the 19" screen. I have reinstalled and repaired but still the problem persists.
