Slide shows in photshop elements 6

Postby kkreations on Thu Jul 03, 2008 1:56 pm

Hi Jack-

I have a slideshow I created in Photoshop Elements 6. The slideshow consists of photos set to music. I burned the slideshow to a cd. I checked the disc to make sure it worked before I gave it away. I was told be the person I gave it to, that they could not watch it on their dvd player. Is it because they have an old dvd player that does not read cd's or is there a different format I should have used to burn the cd?

Regarding the slideshow, the pictures don't look as clear on the TV as they did on the computer monitor. I guess what I am wanting to know is, when creating a slideshow are there certain settings I should use so that I have clear images? The pitures are ok, but they just don't look as clear. Like the quality isn't the same. The pictures were saved in jpeg fine format, 10.2 mp. Thanks for your help.

You hit the nail on the head when you said their DVD player may be older. And the pictures maybe that they are getting a little pixelated when they are blown up. This seems to happen a lot on wide screen tv's.
